Hakewill has framed his view by the two important religious complexes of the town, S. Francesco to the left and S. Chiara to the right, with the Rocca Maggiore in the centre overlooking the town. The drawing is a rapid outline notation.
The drawing was glued on a cardboard, originally numbered 2.55, and kept in a portfolio. Title from note on the original cardboard. Forms part of: Library Collection. Drawings.
