This cluster of ruins is the fortress built in the 14th century by the Dukes of Da Varano di Castello to guard the valley. It is situated outside the town of Serravalle di Chienti.
The drawing was glued on a cardboard, originally numbered 2.57, and kept in a portfolio. Title from note on the original cardboard. Forms part of: Library Collection. Drawings.
