A view from the edge of the riva degli Schiavoni. In the foreground, over the rio di palazzo is the ponte della Paglia, enlarged in 1847. Further back is the ponte dei Sospiri, built around 1600, linking the palazzo Ducale to the left with the prison to the right.
The drawing was glued on a cardboard, originally numbered 6.30, and kept in a portfolio. Title from note on the original cardboard. Forms part of: Library Collection. Drawings.
