"Catalogo delle opere descritte nella grande icnografia del Campo Marzio, coll'aggiunta degli autori, e de' monumenti, da' quali se n'è presa notizia": p. i-x.
BSR copy lacks two dedication texts to Robert Adam one in Latin, one in Italian and plates XIX, XXIV, XXV, XXVII and XXXIV. The copy differs from many other copies since it includes additional sheets particularly notable, three sheets of the same three images each in a different order and one sheet from the De Romanorum magnificentia et architectura (XL.614.P.1).
Engraved added title page reads: Il Campo Marzio dell'antica Roma, opera di G.B. Piranesi socio della Real Società degli Antiquari di Londra..
Engraved title page; on bottom margin: Veneunt apud Auctorem in aedibus Comitis Thomati via Felici prope Templum SS. Trinitatis in Monte Pincio.
In 2011 the volume was unbound by Library conservators, the prints digitized individually and the volume rebound. Each print is described in separate catalog records, accessible at the call number XL.611.P.13.
Plates V-X form the plan: Ichnographiam Campi Martii antiquae urbis.
Digitized images of cataloged items with associated identifying information are available at the British School at Rome Library and Archive Digital Collections website, http://www.bsrdigitalcollections.it
